Individual Support

We offer individual support that covers a multitude of areas, counselling, education, respite, contact, Life story work, English as a second language etc. 

Education

Educational support is offered using tutors experienced with working with children whom are Looked After. This service does incur a fee. In addition to this we are also able to offer a limited amount of tutoring to children who have been excluded from school or whom are awaiting a school place. Free consultation and support by qualified and experienced teachers in emotional and behavioural difficulties and Autism.

Behaviour Management Programmes

We design individual behaviour management programmes for children. This pack includes guidelines, a chart and reward stickers. Following a referral an initial visit is made to see the foster carer in order to carry out a true assessment of the presenting behaviour/s and to create a realistic programme, with follow up visits to discuss the child’s progress.

Life Story Work

We also offer a more intensive package: working closely with the child or young person to carry out life story work, including research, discussion and compilation of a special ‘All About Me’ book.
