NVQ and Partnerships

Foster Carers are given an Annual training programme that reflects collective needs and requirements and is accompanied by a ‘booking in’ form, along with a request to do NVQ form, to be returned to head office Learning & Development Department.

Chrysalis Care work in partnership with NVQ Asessment Centres (Eltonbury Training and Consultancy; Quest), according to the service they can provide - for instance, some foster carers are unable to attend generic training programmes, so we value the flexibility of providers who can visit carers at home. 

Whoever we work with, we check that they have achieved high scores in their External Verification visits, which is a key consideration for Chrysalis Care, as we want to ensure that our investment in quality is reflected in the partnerships we develop.
