What you can expect from us

Foster Carers are also provided with ongoing support and supervision form their Supervising Social Workers, who visit them monthly and also facilitate monthly group support sessions – where foster carers can support each other and share best practice, etc.

The support groups are a combination of group supervision and support and also incorporate an element of training – thus, on occasion accommodate themes – dependant upon the expressed needs of foster carers, which range from for instance, ‘fire safety’ to ‘domestic violence’ to ‘income tax efficiency’!
